Roles: Writer, Director, Editor

 

Inspired by Stormzy's "Know Me From" video, Brinley (aka Brisky), asked if we could make something similar for Bollard. 

 

The expert thing about Know Me From, is how engaging it is with its constant props emphasising the lyrics. The casual camera work isn't polished, but that keeps it low-key and fun.

 

So Brinley and I came up with constant little moments that would illustrate his song, and keep the momentum going, on a student budget. Plus, while shooting, the track's co-writer Robbie, playing one of the "wastemen" chipped in with more fun ideas.

 

Like Stormzy's video, this doesn't look too "cinematic", but it still entertains us and all Brisky's fans.
