Inspired by a real Norwich painting group, I wanted to make a film about a painter with an old mind and his friend with a childish mind, whilst still collaborating with my friends Yannis and Hector. 

​

With them being fellow film students, I wrote their characters with them, and the film was slightly improvised with how they interacted.

​

The funky final portraits were actually by Yannis as Stavros and Hector as Fletcher, with a touching original score by my friend Harrison. 

​

It's early days with me as a filmmaker, but I'm glad I made this on top of uni because it taught me a lot.
